Dr. Brenden Readett
Dr. Readett is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice at The Williamsville Wellness Center with special interest and expertise in holistic and integral approaches to Wellness. He received a PhD from Michigan State University where his training included psychodynamic theory and cognitive behavioral techniques. His Doctoral dissertation studied an innovative educational model of self-esteem designed for application in the classroom. He continued his training at Riverbend Community Mental Health in New Hampshire where he completed one of the original training programs for Dialectical Behavior Therapy designed by Dr. Marsha Linehan. His Post-Doctoral Fellowship was at Kaiser Permanente in the California Bay Area where he studied group therapy for a number common psychological problems and ran a number of DBT groups. Dr. Readett has taught in the Dept. of Holistic Studies at JFK University in California, The State University of New York at Buffalo, and Medaille Colleges. He specializes in cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based treatments for anxiety, depression and other issues. Dr. Readett has meditated for over 20 years and enjoys many hobbies including martial arts, spending time in nature, making music whenever possible and cooking food from around the world. He is also an enthusiastic amateur photographer and many of the photographs and videos on our website are his.
Dr. Fiona Gallacher
Dr. Gallacher is also a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice at the Williamsville Wellness Center in Williamsville NY. She received her Doctorate at Michigan State University where her training focused on the treatment of severe and persistent mental illness. As part of her training she completed an Internship at The National Center for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder at The Boston V.A. Medical Center where she developed a passion for treating posttraumatic stress. She then completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in Pleasant Hill, California and later joined the staff in The Department of Psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente San Jose where she developed an expertise in mindfulness-based treatments for numerous psychological problems such as PTSD, anxiety, panic, and depression. She currently specializes in anxiety, trauma, obsessive-compulsive and dissociative disorders. Dr. Gallacher has practiced meditation for over twenty years and enjoys reading, yoga, gardening, and relaxing on the beach.
